Help Available for Summary Reports

Hint Text

Descriptions of the reports and their various components and parameters are available within the report wizard on the Summary Reports page. Placing your mouse over the report names will open a small text window with some hint text which briefly describes the report.  To view hint text on a report parameter, position your mouse over the parameter's "Select" button.

If you click on the "Help" button at the end of the row on which a report or parameter appears, a popup window will open, with help text describing the item in more detail. 

Data Dictionaries

For detailed reports on the data elements in Healthideas, go to the Data Catalogue page.

Summary Reports Aggregate Data

Summary reports show aggregate data in the form of summaries or tabulations. No detailed data identifying individual events or patients are available in summary reports.

Format of Reports

PDF

PDF documents require a PDF reader. If you do not have Acrobat Reader or the most recent version of another PDF reader, you can download Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Other File Formats

Other file formats, including Microsoft Excel (.xls files) are available on this site.

If You Cannot Find What You are Looking For

If the information you need is not available here, send an e-mail to healthideas@gov.bc.ca with a brief description of what you need, including extra columns in a report, new or modified parameters, or even a new report.  Include the following in your e-mail:

  • your contact information (name, job title, organization, phone number, fax number) 
  • the research question or topic you have 
  • the information you require 
  • the date you require the information

A representitive from Healthideas will contact you to clarify your needs and confirm your request.
