Hospital Services Utilization
Diagnoses are currently coded according to the International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision for Canada (ICD-10-CA). Procedures are coded using the Canadian Classification of Health Interventions (CCI). Hospital data reported in the Summary Reports cover complete fiscal years starting with 2001/2002 up to the current incomplete fiscal year. The most recent complete fiscal year and latest CIHI extract date are indicated on the report when it is run.
